How could it rise?

A gal at church this morning told me how her grandson had set up a pup tent in her back yard and this morning it was gone. No, no one stole it. The wind had come up during the night and picked it up and carried it away.

Wind can be a very powerful element and do great damage. But it also is a source of power for us. For how can a kite rise up and fly in the sky without the opposition of the wind to lift and carry it?

In the same way GOD uses our struggles to lift us up so we learn how to fly.

11 Corinthians 4:17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen (our situation), but on what is unseen (what GOD is achieving through our situation). For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Too much wind will drive a kite and tear it to shreds but be encouraged my friend, GOD has promised that HE, the LORD of heaven and earth, will not allow you to be hit with more than you can handle if you just look to HIM. (I Corinthians 10:13)

GOD allows our struggles for the purpose of strengthening us. HE will not allow them to destroy us.
